Wong Mun Hoe is a Partner in Munhoe, Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice. He specialises in pre-dispute advice, strategic litigation planning and commercial law advisory.
Mun Hoe’s areas of practice include corporate litigation, employment law litigation and other general litigation. His wide experience in all tiers of courts includes among others: defending ex-directors of a large construction organisation in a derivative action; acting for investors in relation to a reverse takeover where a novel point of law was considered, i.e. section 40A of the Securities Industry Act 1983 (now section 92 of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007); advising on a shareholders’ dispute in respect of a takeover of a financial institution; acting for directors who represented the interests of a venture capital company in a shareholders' dispute; and acting for and advising on a wide range of matters for clients from various industries which include the construction and property development sector and financial institutions.

Prior to joining the legal practice, Mun Hoe was in-charge of industrial relation matters in one of the largest automotive players in Malaysia. Subsequently, he was elevated to be the Special Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer where he acquired his commercial and business acumen which helps him to tailor practical solutions for clients.

In 2017, 2019 and 2020, Mun Hoe has led in three separate series of litigation matters of which were amongst the most contentious shareholders-directors dispute of public companies listed on Bursa Malaysia Main Market.
With his experience in dealing with high intensity disputes and conflicts, Mun Hoe has been engaged by clients in crisis management. He has experience in heading and assisting in crisis management for clients.

Mun Hoe has been engaged to provide corporate strategic advisory (pre and post Initial Public Offering) after years of involvement in the areas of corporate and securities law.

Mun Hoe read law in Northumbria University, Newcastle Upon Tyne and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya in 2007.
